May - we are finished lambing. Check with us soon if you are interested in some nice Texel crossbred breeding stock or Coopworth. They will be weaned very late summer as we lambed late this year. We care deeply about the sheep industry and spend many hours supporting the county, state and national organizations and participating in their activities. Mentoring, learning and networking has been so rewarding through these groups of fine folks.

Several persons have contributed information to the University, including the State Association. This Booklet is for sale by the association. At this time, there are only a handful of range operations still active in the State of Washington, as most of the open range is no more. The first Washington Ram Sale was held in Since that time it has grown in importance.

This auction provides the ranchers with the opportunity to restock and improve their herds through the prime rams and ewes which are available at the sale.

It is also a means of supporting the Washington Wool Growers Association. It includes board of directors records, constitution and bylaws, correspondence, newsletters, membership lists, financial statements, and documents related to association-sponsored events such as conventions, lambing and shearing schools, and the group's annual ram sale.
