Gertrude phoenix

I had made reservations for a table inside, but was given the option of dining outside when we arrived. And, since the weather was so nice, we took advantage of an outside table. The waitress was able to answer the several questions we had about items on the menu and had a very pleasant manor about her. She also was attentive to what we needed without being "in the way". The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

It was a very good dining experience and I would recommend dining at Gertrude's. The food was exceptional, our waitress Tim provided an excellent service. The only negative impression was from the hostess who was rude. I did not like that I was required to wear a face mask to get a table. But, other than that, the food, service, and ambiance are all great. We enjoyed celebrating our special occasion at Gertrudes! Lovely place for a special night. All fantastic! Highly recommend!

We sat outside on a pleasant evening. Very good food and service. Duck enchiladas Wonderful setting. Service was spot on and food great. A simply beautiful restaurant with an amazing menu filled with fresh farm to table, locally sourced dishes. Our server, Holden, was on top of his game. The food was fantastic, the ambience was purely romantic, and the surrounding scenery of the botanical garden added up to one of the best date nights I could have ever experienced in the valley.

Gertrude's is one of those restaurants that you come again and again to because the food--just like the gardens--is beautifully presented, and tastes amazing! If you are gluten free this place is heaven!! The doughnuts were absolutely amazing. Appropriate pricing, and all the food was fresh. Our server Josh was wonderful- very kind, patient, and gave great recommendations.

Wonderful setting, fantastic service and great food! I spent a Mommy-Daughter afternoon at the gardens before heading to Gertrude's for dinner. If you can eat on the Patio, the ambiance outside surrounded by the gardens is awesome. The inside eating area is more average. I had a Cactus Cosmo watery, lacked flavor and a Garden Margarita fabulous! I should have ordered something a little more interesting but it was still good.

None of this would stop me from returning - I enjoyed my time there, the server was wonderful, and they had a kids menu that my daughter enjoyed coloring on. Recommend and will definitely return again! It was a wonderful experience however the amount of bugs was not pleasant.

Accommodated a large party with dietary restrictions. Great food and drinks! Lovely start to the evening concert at the Garden. Overall a very good experience and the food was delicious. I think they need to turn off the music so people could hear the birds and nature. Also, the people working in the kitchen were a little loud and distracting.
