The waiters were very polite. I highly recommend…. Without question the best Thai food in Philadelphia, including an inexpensive lunch that is excellent. The atmosphere is great, very mellow and non typical. This place has great food. Most people directed me to Circles for good Thai in South Philadelphia. Amerithai is right up the street, however the i9nitial reviews were not…. I had the vegetable soup and the mango curry, my….
I highly recommended the place. The food was quick and excellent especially Pad Thai. It was the best Pad Thai I? This place is the best!!!!! The chicken satay was dry. We have lived in Asia for years, and this food would not pass the grade in Thailand or in Asia.
Service was mediocre. Overall, we were dissapointed with this experience. I always enjoy eating here. The food is reasonably priced and yummy. It's not top-of-the-line, amazing Thai food, but definitely tasty enough to come back for. I usually just order tofu pad thai, and they are always happy to accommodate my specifications on certain dishes- I usually ask them to hold the mushrooms and give me pineapple instead.
The Thai iced tea is alright, but I find it to be a little bitter for some reason. It doesn't really bother me though, I still end up ordering it anyway. Try the Basil Chicken dish- very tasty. The service is pretty fast, which is very much appreciated when I come hungry. Singha House is a great place to go to satisfy your Thai food needs in a pinch. Me and my co-worker just ordered food from this restaurant because the other reviews said it was good.
We beg to differ. The chicken in the red curry was dry and overcooked. The Yen Ta 4 was less than appetizing. The seafood was also overcooked and very chewy. If you are looking to do something special for breakfast and are not in a time crunch, this is a definitely the place to go….
I feel like every food story I have starts with a solid Google search and this story is really no different. Caribbean Delight is a small place, painted with incredibly bright murals and is lined with booths and ceiling fans to create a casual vibe.
When we walked up to the counter, an incredibly helpful lady guided us toward their specials and a pineapple ginger beer in order to get a true taste of Jamaican food.
Each special came with a side of cabbage, plantains, and rice and beans. The Curry Chicken was full of flavor, the Jerk Chicken delivered on kick, and the chicken fell off the bone for both dishes.
It was messy and delicious. This order of words and cheesesteak jargon indicates your cheese and onion preferences. So here is your cheat sheet when you order: State what kind of steak you want i. The hubby ordered a mushroom pepper steak no cheese. Oh, and if you have to wait in a line, it will be worth it—trust me. Before I begin to describe the awesome dishes that this place serves, I need to emphasize that the authenticity of a Thai place is key for me.
This place is strictly Thai—not fusion, even though Yelp says otherwise.
